Relationship Difficulties
Relationship is how we relate to others around us, and it covers various aspects of our life, including family, couple, spouse, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues, etc. We all experience relationship difficulties from time to time, and it may affect how we view ourselves, people, and the world around us, as well as interfere our daily functioning. When not addressed effectively, relationship difficulties may contribute to mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety. Relationship difficulties may also affect one’s self-esteem and physical health or lead to feelings of guilt, shame, or anger.
As each psychotherapy is personal and individualized, together we will examine what would be the appropriate format for our sessions, as it could be individual, couple, or family. We will explore both the internal and external conflicts, acknowledge the feelings, identify needs, and enhance the communication to make healthy requests to self and others. Through our exploration, we will gain insights of the origin of the relationship conflicts, attain mutual empathy and respect, build a healthy boundary, and enhance the relationship.
I can also help you with depression, anxiety, trauma, and dual diagnosis.
